Le Puget has its own riding school and horses and offers a range of riding holidays: from a couple of hours hacking in the forest to galloping across mountain meadows full of flowers. We can arrange longer term treks through the Pyrenees with overnight camping or gites. On the farm we have an indoor riding school, ideal for the children and novice riders to discover the world of horses. Email us if you want to discuss riding options.
The riding is provided by Eva Kasper, director of Association les Crinieres d’Evol, who is a ‘monitrice d’equitation’ with full insurance.
Eva also has a team of riders, dancers and musicians who can provide tailor-made events including medieval jousting and specialist fire juggling.
Costs
The basic cost for adults and children over 6 years old is 30 euros for two hours (one-hour riding and one-hour preparation and schooling). For groups we can make special arrangements. Please email to discuss.
